NextHome Mission

As the pandemic continues, we want you to know that we continue to follow the CDC, state and local COVID mandates and protocols to keep you, ourselves, and the other parties to the transaction as safe as possible.

For showings – everyone must wear a mask inside the homes we visit and follow any specific instructions given by the listing agent in order to safely see the home.  Some homes have a limit to the number of people who are allowed in at one time and most require wearing shoe booties or removing shoes while inside the home as well as limiting touching of any surfaces.  We also need to adhere to social distancing of at least 6 feet at all times inside the home.  If anyone in your party or household are experiencing fever, chills, coughing, sneezing or any other symptoms of illness or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive please let us know so we can reschedule.

For listings  – we will request that all parties entering your home wear a mask and the provided shoe covers (or remove their shoes).  We will also provide hand sanitizer for use before and after the showing. For everyone’s health and safety, we will request signed confirmation for everyone (including the agent) that no one in the buyers’ party is experiencing fever, chills, coughing, sneezing or any other symptoms of illness or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive prior to confirming appointments.  Likewise, to keep everyone safe we ask that if anyone in your household has been exposed, tested positive or is experiencing any symptoms to notify us immediately so we can temporarily suspend showings.

Real estate is still considered an essential business in Virginia. The low inventory and high demand makes this a great time to sell your home, and the still low interest rates make it a great time to buy.  By taking precautions to ensure everyone’s safety, we will be able to continue to help you with your home buying or selling needs.
